ATO’s conscious efforts to encourage a positive attendance culture has worked this year, with unscheduled absences at their lowest in over 13 years. As a result the agency was able to achieve an 11% reduction in their workplace insurance premium this year, saving the Australian taxpayer an estimated $3.5 million dollars.
|According to the commissions December 2016 newsletter:
“The ATO used predictive data, analytics and ongoing research to identify and target high risk business areas … then piloted and implemented modern, evidence based approaches.”
As part of ATO’s documented new approach, the agency promoted Wellnomics WorkPace software to educate staff and remind them of safe, ergonomic work habits.
Wellnomics are proud to have contributed to such a significant reduction in staff absenteeism as well as financial savings for ATO and we look forward to a continued successful relationship in the new year.
